Hi, I’m Tanya — the baker, decorator, and heart behind Jungle Bakes.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of owning a bakery. But one day, I answered a Craigslist ad for a job decorating cookies, and to my surprise, completely fell in love with it. I learned the craft working for another small business I grew to care deeply about, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity I had there, especially during the uncertainty of Covid.

When that business eventually closed, I was heartbroken… and a little lost. With a lot of encouragement from my former boss (now a dear friend), I took a leap I never thought I would and started Jungle Bakes. I had a lot to learn, but I knew this was something worth trying.

Now I love creating cookies that feel personal. Every set I make is fully custom, designed with your celebration in mind, and decorated by hand — one cookie at a time. I pour a lot of care into every detail, hoping each order feels as special as the event it’s made for.

Jungle Bakes is truly a piece of me, built from long days filled with a lot of patience, learning, and heart.
